A Blessed Start to the Year

With six new children in our Maalum Lutheran School and two girls successfully graduating from university, we had a good start to the new year with God on our side.

We are proud to be able to provide a laptop to all the girls in our program who are going to university. The clothing supply for the girls is running better than usual, thanks to all our PLCC friends and donors. In addition, we have been able to continue to provide food donations to the families of the children. We thank God for all these opportunities and hope that our actions will strengthen the girls’ and families’ trust in God.

Since March 7th, our girls have had their long school vacations. And as some of you may remember, long summer vacations can be boring. To prevent this, we had an entire program and tried to teach them variety, fun, and new things. There were many small competitions between the houses (blue, orange, green, and yellow), dance lessons, outdoor games, and history lessons. Besides singing gospel songs together, the children also learned how to knit socks and make beaded necklaces. All in all, a varied program in which fun was never neglected
